be patient with what they say- celebrate the praise of your Lord, before the rising and setting of the sun, glorify Him with praise during before the rising of the sun and prior to its setting and thus glorify Him on both ends the day, so that you may be content/pleased
God is indeed glorified with praise in many ways..one of those ways, before the rising and setting of the sun and less less obvious externally, is this:
A person yearns for , hopes for and works for what is glorious and praiseworthy but that has not yet become bright and apparent…like a father working to provide his children with the basic necessities and comforts of life, security, love, support, encouragement and so on…the sun of love and peace and beauty and safety has not yet risen on their lives and in yearning and working for it and seeking it, the father could either be yearning for a lower, perishing love and a peace/safety/beauty polluted by profound injurues (of impending non-existence) or, as the verses counsel, see in his yearnings and hopes and efforts the glorification and praise of the One who owns and can provide that undying love, that peace, that beauty, that safety of eternally having what one’s soul has been made to desire. This father could either see the necessary perishing of love and beauty in the lower realm (lower on account of such unceasing decay and decline of things and circumstances that bear that beauty in a transient and impermanent way) as the real end of love and beauty or he could praise and glorify the One with whom this beauty and peace and safety survive even as the things of the lower realm that bore these lights pass away. Before the sun rises and before it sets, there is a person whose praise, whose efforts and his satisfactions are tied to yearning for the sun and its light as the light of God…this person wants and seeks divine beauty in/for all things and people…like a father working so that his children can eat well and not be deprived of what they want and need..a father who sees that the things upon which the beauty that did shine through is about to decline and pass but that the One whose beauty it was would remain and hence His beauty and life would remain and be available eternally to those whose souls are made to want them and not find satisfaction without them…this is a way of glorifying with praise the One from whom all good comes and with whom all good remains…this is how a person has someone to praise and glorify even in the dark hours (night) of his life when, apparently, no light shines but the darkness of passing things glorifies the light that is praised and besought….
may God help those who glorify Him with praise in this way, understand that that is what they have been doing..may God accept it from them and may they be pleased with Him in realizing this…God is glorified with praise by the one who is dissatisfied with the lack of His perfections displayed by their absence/lack in things and by the impending end of whatever perfections do become apparent and before the light/sun of those perfection stops shining on passing things..In a realm of many absences/lacks and constant passings, satisfaction is to be found in realizing that one’s soul is in a state of glorifying God, the undying owner of all life and perfections, with praise before those perfections appear (as light) and before the light stops shining on something in the lower realm..
