Its as uncomplicated as wanting to see ones loved ones again. to find a one to whom one can entrust the life and wellbeing of ones loved ones (including oneself) is in finding safety with that other life, lasting and without death. so that one could say ( and mean) and feel in ones heart, ”till we meet again“ to every beloved thing that departs
its that uncomplicated when one feels it and effort and struggle (and reflection and exegesis and study etc) is worth it and necessary if arriving, again and again, at such a feeling is the goal. my safety is where my departed beloveds are and will be. safety is with eternal life
